Deputies say a woman was jogging west on Boonville-New Harmony Rd. when she was hit and killed by an eastbound truck. Sheriff Dave Wedding says the woman was wearing a reflective vest.

Hours after her death, the team took to social media to express its condolences. Gries served as one of the team's host families.
