Police found a Mercury Tracer, with six or seven people inside, and a Pontiac van had crashed, the statement said.
It said information gathered from witnesses at the scene suggests the Mercury was going west on Creighton and failed to stop at a red light. The Mercury entered the intersection and collided broadside with a van going north on Anthony.
