1 dead, 16 hurt after SUV crashes head-on into bus traveling to Columbus

Police say the driver of the SUV and his dog were killed. They say the bus went into a ditch, and about 16 of the approximately 40 passengers aboard went to hospitals with non-critical injuries.

Edward M. Dahm, 86, who in 1948 co-founded what later became Mike’s Express Carwash with his brother Joe, died in the crash, the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department told WANE-15 in Fort Wayne.
