Arrest made in White Co. fatal hit-and-run crash

The White County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Austin Warren, of Logansport, Monday just before 9 a.m. on an arrest warrant for two counts of failure to remain at the scene of an accident resulting in death, which is a Level 5 Felony. The fatal crash occurred on Oct. 11 just before 8 p.m. on County Road 800 North. Investigators said a car traveling on County Road 800 North collided with a truck that was on State Road 16.
