Frank Adams,65, killed, after his car collides with a tractor-trailer driven by Jakub Huremvic, 48, on I-70 near Greenfield in Hancock County.

A 65-year-old Beech Grove man died of injuries sustained in a Thursday-night crash on Interstate 70 in Hancock County, police said.

Frank Adams was driving a Chrysler 200 eastbound in the westbound lanes of the interstate when he collided about 10:30 p.m. with a semi-tractor trailer about a half-mile east of Ind. 9, said the Greenfield Police Department.

The driver of the truck — Jakub Huremvoic, 48, St. Louis — was not injured, police said in a release.

Greenfield Fire Department paramedics took Adams to Hancock Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead, Towle said. The Hancock County Fatal Accident Crash Team was called to the scene, he added, and the accident remains under investigation.
