Gibson Co. EMT dies following accident in Daviess Co., IN

Colleagues of Brittingham say he leaves behind a 15 year old daughter and a 19 year old son.

The accident happened Thursday night around 5:30 on US 50 near County Road 1200E and involved a gas tanker headed west and three others headed east on US 50 near County Road 1200E. An eastbound car went left of center and struck the tanker head-on; the tanker then hit two other vehicles. Craig Brittingham was confirmed to be the driver of the car that hit the gas tanker, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
