Keokuk County teen dies in car accident
The Iowa State Patrol reports an SUV driven by 22-year-old Dakota Bogert of Bloomfield ran a stop sign and collided with another SUV traveling on Highway 78.
A 17-year-old girl died and two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision Saturday in Keokuk County, Iowa, which happened when a vehicle heading northbound ran a stop sign and crashed into a westbound vehicle at an intersection. The driver of the westbound vehicle was Bethanne Cooksey of Hedrick, who was pronounced deceased. The crash is under investigation.
