Mother and son die in single-car crash west of Marengo

The sheriff's office says the driver, 18-year-old Bethany Grace Clark, was eastbound when she lost control of the car on the frost-covered road. The car entered a ditch and hit a creek bank before catching on fire. Her 2-year-old son Roran Pierce Clark was also in the car. Both died in the crash.
