12-Year-Old Girl Killed in Eastern Iowa UTV Crash
Officials took “extensive life-saving measures” to save the girl, the sheriff’s office said in a news release, but she died at the scene. The girl’s name had not been released by Monday morning.

Authorities were dispatched at 3:22 p.m. Sunday to the scene of the crash on a farm in the 14000 block of 328th Avenue, outside of Springbrook, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
