5 people killed Friday in SUV vs. semi crash

A semi-truck and SUV collided, sending both vehicles into the ditch.  The semi came to rest on its side.

The adults killed were the driver, Renea Baker, 49, of Redding and Sydney King, 30,also of Redding. The children who died were Briane Baker, 12, and Hayden King, 2,both of Redding, and Elizabeth Lakey, 4, of Grant City, Mo.

The crash happened around 11 a.m. Friday on Highway 2 near Mount Ayr. Patrol investigators say the crash was caused when an SUV carrying seven people ran a stop sign and was hit by a truck.
