Has it ever been determined what caused Ronald Heston to cross the centerline? Unless Ronnie license was reinstated in the past 6 months he wasn't suppose to be behind the steering wheel of a vehicle. Ronnie shared this with me in December 2015 when I stayed with him for a few days this information on how he had lost his license and that the truck and insurance was under Kenny Metzgers name. He also stated that the Jefferson county sheriff's office allowed him to drive around by ignoring the fact he wasn't allowed to drive. Ronnie was on so many different types of mental health and pain medications that he would of been very unstable as well impaired to drive. If alcohol was added to all of these medications it's no wonder he ran off the road and crossed the centerline trying to get back on the roadway. The families of the Askews are entitled to know this infornation. Especially since it sounds to everyone that knew Ronnie that I've spoken with that the Kansas d.o.t is covering this tragedy to protect the ones they shouldn't be. Their law enforcement brothers. Stop corruption in law enforcement now! Mark Thomas Meyer
