Shawnee County rollover: Scion leaves road, crosses ditch and field, rolls onto top, ends up in yard of residence(link is external)

A Shawnee Heights fire crew and Shawnee County sheriff’s officers responded. The vehicle came to rest in the front yard of a house at 4722 S.E. Stanley. A Scion was traveling north on S.E. Stanley, which is a mile east of Shawnee Heights Road, near the county line, when the female driver apparently lost control of the vehicle. The Scion left the road on the east side, went through a shallow ditch and cut across the corner of a bean field before rolling onto its top. One person was taken to the hospital Thursday morning after a rollover accident east of Topeka.
