According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 16-year-old Damon Wilson was driving a car south on U99 just north of Howard at around 10:00.
According to Kansas State Troopers, Damon Wilson of Howard was driving a pickup when he attempted to pass another vehicle shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday on K-99. A tire ruptured, causing Wilson to lose control and the pickup to roll several times. Wilson sustained fatal injuries, while two passengers ages 17 and 18 were airlifted to Wichita for treatment.
