Two killed in Boyd crash
Kentucky State Police said two people died in a crash Tuesday in Boyd County when a male driver made an illegal pass and the driver and passenger in the other vehicle were killed. Drugs appear to be a factor in the wreck that happened about 4 p.m. on Route 168 in Catlettsburg, Trooper Shane Goodall said.

Opel Wilkes, 57, and Rigoberto Madrigal, 55, both of Catlettsburg, were identified as the deceased in the wreck that occurred on Feb. 15.
