Five injured in crash in Boyle County

Godbey told officers his light was red, but he watched it turn green and he drove into the intersection. When Godbey went into the intersection, Casey entered the intersection and collided with the Nissan. Casey and his passenger told officers the light was green for them when they went into the intersection.

Five injured in crash in Boyle County

Five people were injured in a two vehicle accident Friday evening in Boyle County.
Five people were injured in a two vehicle accident Friday evening at the intersection of Hustonville Road and the US 127/150 Bypass in Boyle County. Police say that a Ford F150 truck, driven by Tracy Casey, 47, of Lancaster, was heading east on the US 127/150 Bypass towards the intersection with Hustonville Road. A Nissan pickup, driven by 20-year-old Jacob Godbey, was going west on the US 127/150 Bypass and in the left lane to turn south on Hustonville Road. Casey and his three passengers, two of them being children, were taken to the hospital. Godbey was driven to UK Hospital to be checked out for a possible concussion. Godbey's two passengers were flown to UK Hospital with possible head injuries. Anyone witnessing the accident should call police.
