Kentucky State Police say the crash happened around 6:00 p.m. in the Lost Creek community on KY 476.

Police say Campbell stepped into the westbound lanes just as a 2004 Ford Taurus came around a curve and struck him.

Noah Campbell was walking along Highway 476 and attempted to cross the road. Michael Fugate, 20, came driving around a curve and struck Campbell, who was declared dead at the scene. Authorities do not believe alcohol was a factor in this crash. More information will be posted as it is released!
