According to Anderson County schools, the bus was sitting idle in a turning lane along KY Highway 44 and U.S. Highway 127 near Walmart when the car struck it. The bus had 52 students on board at the time of the collision. Two children and the driver of the car were evaluated for injuries at the scene.
