Busy Georgetown shut down for 6 hours following deadly crash
Georgetown Police Captain Robert Swanigan said the driver of the Tahoe was trapped underneath his vehicle.
“We determined that we could not get him out from under the vehicle. That’s when the bystanders stepped in. They literally lifted the car off of him," Captain Swanigan said.
Coroner IDs Victim In Deadly Georgetown Crash
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at Georgetown Community Hospital.
The coroner has identified the driver as Alex Matthew Rabe, 24, of Georgetown.
