Marinda Lewis, 39, killed, after she loses control of her car on Furnace Junction Road near Ravenna, and overturns, ejecting her from the vehicle.

One person is dead after a crash in Estill County. Police say it happened around 6:00 p.m. Thursday night on Furnace Junction Road.

39-year-old Marinda Lewis, of Ravenna, lost control and overturned, throwing her from the car.

Police say it's likely she wasn't wearing a seat belt.

Lewis was the only person in the car.

Marinda Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene by the Estill County Coroner.
