A Pulaski County woman and child were injured in a Friday evening car accident. It happened just after 9 p.m. On Highway 27 near Keno Road.

Tasha Cox, 33, of Tateville, and a five-year-old were injured in a car accident on south 27 near Keno Road in Somerset, KY. Cox was driving northbound when she fell asleep at the wheel, drifted off the road and crashed into an embankment. They were both taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
