Two perish in car-semi collision
A semi-truck with an unloaded diesel trailer, drive by Timothy Fields, 34, of London, Ky., was traveling westbound on Ky. 80, approaching the intersection with the bypass.
Jody Johnson and Justin Angel were riding in a car when a tractor-trailer struck them on the Ky. Hwy. 80 and Ky. 914 by-pass. The impact of the collision sent the car off the road. The driver of the car was 20-year-old Travis Strope, who suffered serious injuries. The driver of the tractor trailer, identified as 34-year-old Timothy Fields, complained of back and neck pain, and both he and Strope were hospitalized.
