Truck Accident Reports and News from the Louisville, KY Area
An overturned tractor-trailer has shut down a portion of I-65 in Louisville, Kentucky Friday afternoon. The accident occurred in the southbound lanes of I-65 near Fern Valley Road at 4:40 PM. Emergency responders have closed the highway to traffic around the crash.
Derek Hardin was driving in the middle northbound lane of I-65 and was unable to stop, when he crashed into the rear of a stopped semi driven by Calvin Lake. Two additional semis were also involved in the crash.
An accident with serious injuries shut down part of Eminence Pike in Shelby County Monday morning.
That accident happened before at 6:30 on Monday, April 14 in the 2600 block of Eminence Pike.
A multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 71 south has resulted in a headache for drivers trying to get into Louisville.
The Oldham County Police Department said the accident was reported at 9:26 a.m. at the 12.5 mile marker, just north of the Oldham County/Jefferson County line.
