One dead, two injured in parkway wreck

  The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says a wreck that backed up traffic on the Julian M. Carroll Purchase Parkway Wednesday afternoon claimed the life of an Indiana man and hospitalized a Kentucky man and a juvenile. The sheriff's office says Bounds was pronounced dead on scene by Marshall County Coroner Mitchell Lee. The sheriff's office says its investigation indicates a 2009 Chevy pickup driven by 51-year-old Tommy Morefield, of Wingo, Kentucky, was headed south when it crossed the median into the northbound lane.
