Troopers say 42-year-old Amy Chavez of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, was driving west in the right-hand lane of I-24 when, for an unknown reason, she did not see traffic slowing on the Tennessee River Bridge. Chavez moved her car to the left lane in an attempt to pass a semi, but according to witnesses, the semi changed lanes and cut her off.
