The Carlisle County Sheriff’s Department says 32-year-old Adam Garnett of Bardwell, Kentucky, was driving a truck westbound on U.S. 62 when he tried to stop for a car that was stopped ahead preparing to turn onto Kentucky 307. Instead of stopping, deputies say Garnett’s truck slid sideways into the eastbound lane, where it collided with an oncoming van.
