Brown’s Kia struck the back corner of the truck when it pulled into the median, sending Brown’s vehicle flying through the median and into a ditch along the highway, Sandifer said.
Both men were wearing seat belts and impairment does not appear to be a factor. Brown was killed, but Shepard was uninjured.
