Woman killed Monday in Mississippi River bridge crash identified; Baton Rouge police release new details

The crash is still being investigated, Coppola said.
On Monday at around 2:20 a.m., a 2013 Toyota Camry stopped at the top of the Mississippi River Bridge because the driver believed the car had struck something in the roadway. A 2010 Nissan Titan driver didn't see the stopped vehicle and struck the Camry from behind. Maci Summer Sanders, 24, a back-seat passenger in the Camry, was killed, and at least four other people involved in the crash were taken to a hospital with injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening.
