Eight students suffer minor injuries after car reported runs stop sign, strikes school bus early Thursday

He said there were 15 students on the bus at the time of the crash. The driver of the Mazda exited the vehicle and left the scene prior to police arriving, Coppola said. The bus was traveling north on North 27th Street around 8 a.m. when, according to a witness, a Mazda Millenia traveling east on Gayosa Street failed to stop for a stop sign and struck the driver'€™s side of the bus, Coppola said in a news release.
