Mother, 3-year-old child die after head-on collision in Plaquemines

A mother and her 3-year-old child died Monday afternoon (July 27) after a head-on collision in Plaquemines Parish, according to State Police. The car crash occurred about 2 p.m. Monday on Louisiana 23, about four miles south of Myrtle Grove, said Trooper Dustin Dwight, a State Police spokesman.
