1 killed, 2 hurt in Washington Parish crash.

Police say alcohol may have been a factor in wreck.
A two-vehicle crash killed one person and injured two others on State Road 25 in Washington Parish. Authorities with Louisiana State Police said the crash happened just before 6 a.m. on S.R. 25 when a Ford F-150 pickup driven by Charles Toon, 35, of Foxworth, Miss., crossed the center line and hit a Chevrolet Silverado. The driver of the Silverado, Jonathan Bickham, 32, of Franklinton, was hit head-on and died of his injuries. He was wearing a seat belt. Investigators said Toon may have been drinking, and a blood sample was taken. Results are pending. Toon and a passenger in the F-150, Teresa Minarik, 33, of Franklinton, were taken to St. Tammany Parish Hospital for treatment. Both were wearing seat belts and suffered moderate injuries. Toon faces several charges, including vehicular homicide and drunken driving.
