Danielle Rhone, 29, and nephew 2-year-old Kaedan Body killed in hit-and-run accident on Interstate 10 in New Orleans, Louisiana

The New Orleans Police Department says it's close to making an arrest in Sunday's deadly hit-and-run accident on the Interstate 10 Highrise. Police say it happened shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday. Danielle Rhone, 29, and her nephew, 2-year-old Kaedan Body, both died. According to police, the car Rhone was driving stalled near the top of the Highrise due to mechanical problems. Shortly after, Rhone, her nephew and other passengers in the vehicle got out. A short time later, a crash occurred involving multiple vehicles. Police say that's when Rhone and the toddler were struck by a car and knocked over the guardrail of the bridge and to the ground below. All of the drivers involved in the crash were cleared but one. Police say they're still trying to locate a man who left the scene on foot, leaving behind his disabled truck.
