Woman dies after being struck by car on Loyola Avenue
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim walked into westbound traffic from the bushes that line the neutral ground in the 600 block of Loyola Avenue, across from the Hyatt Regency hotel. It's unclear whether she was near the pedestrian crosswalk that leads from the neutral ground to the hotel's front entrance.
