John Frey, 86, and Donald Tabb, 85, killed in boating accident on Mississippi River near Port Eads,Louisiana
Authorities received a call for help around 8:50 a.m. An unknown type of boat had sunk in the area of the Southwest Pass, near Port Eads, Domingue said.
The missing man, identified as Donald Tabb, is a very influential member of the faith-based community in Baton Rouge. Tabb helped start the widely popular Chapel on the Campus at LSU and also is one of the founders of what would become the Dunham School in Baton Rouge.
Tabb and 86-year-old John Frey of Magnolia, Texas, were aboard a 27-foot vessel with an unidentified Baton Rouge man Wednesday morning when it capsized about 7 a.m.
