Brewer woman dies days after crash

The driver of the other vehicle, a 29-year-old Bucksport man, stopped momentarily before leaving the scene. He was tracked down later.

Bucksport man pleads not guilty to charges stemming from fatal Orrington hit-and-run crash

Marc Sparks, 29, was indicted Wednesday by the Penobscot County grand jury on one count each of manslaughter, aggravated criminal operating under the influence of intoxicants, causing a death while driving with a suspended license and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident. 
Police say 59-year-old Robin Rie died late last week after getting injured in a crash Sept. 13. Sheriff's deputies say Rie was on Route 15 when she slowed down to make a left turn and another vehicle struck her from behind.  The Penobscot district attorney's office is reviewing the case.
