A section of Route 26 was closed for reconstruction, said Sgt. Alan Coffin ofthe Oxford Police Department. Route 26 connects with the intersection where the crash occurred, Number 6 Road and Roller Rink Road.
Four people injured in Wednesday night crash in Oxford
In addition to Oxford fire, police and rescue personnel, Poland Rescue was at the scene along with PACE ambulance and Paris Fire Department.
At about 5:07pm, a head-on crash at the intersection of Number 6 Road and Roller Rink Road was reported to the police. Just before that time, Quinn was driving a southbound Honda Civic when he crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a Ford Focus driven by Bonnie Robitaille, 60. Quinn was the most seriously injured in the crash, with significant head and chest injuries, but he was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition. Robitaille and two passengers in her vehicle, identified as Kendra Thibodeau, 39, and Laura Reiman, 64, were less seriously injured and have all been treated and released from the hospital. The cause of this crash remains under investigation .
