Anne Arundel police are searching for the driver of a red minivan that struck an 11-year-old on a bicycle Saturday evening and did not stop.
Hit-and-run driver seriously injures 11-year-old boy riding his bicycle in Laurel
The boy was struck around 6:30 p.m. Saturday on Whiskey Bottom Road. He suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The boy was riding bicycles with his father when he was struck by a minivan. He was taken to Johns Hopkins pediatric emergency room and is suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. Anne Arundel County police described the van as an “older model” red minivan with tinted windows and possible damage to its front. Police ask anyone with information to call the Metro Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-866-7LOCKUP or text “MCS plus your message” to CRIMES (274637).
