George Walter Rhoades Sr., 88, killed in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Union Church Road and Stevenson Road in Elkton, Maryland

An 88-year-old man was killed on Friday night when the car he was driving crashed into another vehicle at an intersection north of Elkton, according to the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators identified the victim as George Walter Rhoades Sr., who lived near North East. Paramedics pronounced Rhoades dead at the scene, police reported.
