Investigators to return to Tipton Airport crash scene

It took almost an hour for first responders to free them from the wreckage.
A single-engine plane, a Grumman American AA-1, crashed soon after takeoff on Sunday in woods near Tipton Airport outside of Fort Meade. It's unclear where the plane was heading before it crashed, or the cause of the crash. The crash injured Thomas Cline, 82, of Silver Spring, and Jeffry Barnett, 57, of Glen Burnie.  Both men were flown to Baltimore's Shock Trauma Center, where Cline was listed in critical condition on Monday, and Barnett was listed in fair condition. Federal investigators will assess the scene Monday.
