William Henry Behrens, 74, killed, after his tractor-trailer overturns on an off-ramp on I-83 in Hunt Valley.

A 74-year-old man was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving overturned on a ramp off of Interstate 83 in Hunt Valley Tuesday evening.

Maryland State Police said William Henry Behrens, of Harford County, lost control for unknown reasons on the off-ramp to Shawan Road at around 5:30 p.m. and the vehicle flipped. Behrens was driving a vehicle used for transporting cars, state police said.

No other cars were involved in the crash, which shut down the ramp for about six hours. State police were investigating whether falling snow and slick roads contributed to the crash.
