1 Killed, 1 Hurt When Car And Bus Crash In Westminster

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says a woman was killed and a man was hurt when their car collided with a bus in Westminster.
At approximately 8:25 a.m. Thursday, on Medford Road at Stone Chapel Road, a Ford Econoline bus driven by Ginger Gallagher, 51, of Westminster, was crossing Medford Road when it was hit by a vehicle driven by Robert Tyson Jr., 62, of New Windsor. Tyson and a passenger, Kathleen Tyson, 60, of New Windsor, were transported to Carroll Hospital Center where Kathleen Tyson died. The cause of the crash is being investigated.
