Maryland police: 3 dead after Eastern Shore crash
Maryland State Police say three people from Virginia are dead after a crash on the Eastern Shore.
The fatal collision happened at approximately 9 p.m. Monday when police say an Acura TL exited State Route 12 in Girdletree on a curve, collided with some trees, one of which fell on top of the car. The driver, Nicole Earnest, 26, and her two passengers, 21-year-old Amanda Phillips and 45-year-old Sean Mobley, were pronounced deceased at the crash site. All three are from Chincoteague, Virginia. The cause of the crash is being investigated.
