22-year-old killed in Capitol Heights car crash

A passenger was killed and the driver critically injured in a one-car crash in Prince George'€™s County on Sunday. Angela Sheketa Carter, 22, of Southeast Washington died in the Capitol Heights collision. County police said the car was on Central Avenue, near the intersection with Quire Avenue, when it crossed the center line at about 3:45 a.m., went off the road and hit a cinderblock retaining wall. A second passenger suffered injuries that were not life-threatening. Police said they are investigating the cause of the crash and asked anyone with information to call 301-731-4422.
