A Maryland woman was killed in a bizarre accident at 6:30 Friday, and authorities are attempting to understand how the accident occurred. The initial investigation suggests that the vehicle slipped into reverse, went onto the curb traveling toward a tree. The vehicle door was open and Wood-Knox was hanging out of the vehicle. She somehow got trapped between the tree and the door.  It happened at the corner of Randolph Road and Allies Road.
