Lee woman struck by car and killed
Lee Police Chief Jeffrey Roosa told theBerkshire Eagle that the 68-year-old woman was crossing the street at the intersection of West Park and Marble streets when she was struck by a car operated by a 33-year-old Lee man. Police are not releasing any identities at this point in the investigation, Roosa said.

The crosswalk markings have worn out and there are no brightly colored signs posted along West Park to warn motorists they are approaching a crosswalk.
The Lee Board of Selectmen at their regular meeting Tuesday night said the crosswalk deficiency is being addressed.
