A tanker truck carrying fuel rolled over on Route 6 in Barnstable Friday afternoon and crashed into the woods.

The tanker was hauling home heating oil, which state police reported to be leaking.
The Department of Environmental Protection was called in to assess the environmental impact of the spill.
Route 6 Eastbound at Route 132 was closed for a short time. As of 1:15 p.m., one lane of traffic was being allowed past the crash scene.
The driver was reported to have sustained minor injuries.
There was no immediate word on what caused the crash.
