The teen was riding a bike near the intersection of Talbot and New England Avenues around 10 p.m. Tuesday when two vehicles crashed. He was struck by one or both of the cars and later died. His name has not been released by investigators, but a family friend identified him Wednesday afternoon as 18-year-old Fritz Philogene, a sophomore at West Roxbury High School.

A teenage boy was riding near the intersection of Talbot and New England Avenues around 10 p.m. Tuesday when he was struck by one or both of the vehicles after they crashed. According to the the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, at least two adult occupants of involved vehicles were hospitalized but are expected to survive. Police are looking for a Cadillac involved in the crash, which fled the scene. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.
