Police received a report of an accident at Route 16 Eastbound near Sweetser Circle in Everett at approximately 2 a.m. Saturday morning. The State Troopers found a 2005 Audi that, lost control and veered off the road. The car smashed into a tree, rolled over and came to rest on Route 16.
Police said the tree fell and blocked the road after the Audi struck it. Frank Vozzella, 19, of Winchester, was transported to Mass General Hospital after the crash, but he died as a result of his injuries. This accident is still being investigated and we will provide further details as they become available.
