71-year-old woman killed in hit and run crash in Malden Posted: Updated: A 71-year-old woman has died from her injuries suffered in a hit and run crash according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office. The crash happened in the 500 block of Pleasant Street Sunday and the driver left the scene. Neighbors in the area told 7News they are saddened by what happened but not surprised. The victim has been identified as 71-year-old Yaai Chen of Malden. Malden Police confirm they found the vehicle Monday morning but won't say whether an arrest has been made.

MALDEN (CBS) — An arrest has been made in the December 2015 hit-and-run that killed an elderly woman in Malden, the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office said Sunday. 71-year-old Yaai Chen was struck and killed by a car while crossing Pleasant Street. The suspect, whose name has not been released, will be arraigned Monday in Malden District Court.
