The crash was first reported around 11 a.m. near the eastbound 69 mile marker. The accident occurred in the breakdown lane.
Man struck and killed by truck on Mass Pike in Warren identified
According to State Police Media Relations, the department’s investigation indicates that Austin had walked into the right travel lane, where he was struck by the truck. The driver of the truck, a 50 year-old Syracuse, N.Y. resident, stopped following the crash.
