Hatfield man cited for drunken driving in fatal Williamsburg accident
Robert Crowther of Hatfield is being cited for negligent operation of a motor vehicle and driving while under the influence of alcohol, according to Mary Carey, spokeswoman for Northwestern District Attorney David Sullivan.
The driver of a Toyota Camry lost control of his car on Route 9 and struck a utility pole. Tomas Q. Clark, the sole passenger in the car, was killed in the accident. The driver, a 26-year-old man from Hatfield whose name was not release, and Clark were transported by ambulance to Baystate Medical Center with serious injuries.
